True Colors

Canvas of conceit

Soaked in your own ink

Failing to see

There is no more room for color

Choked without air

Stained and smeared by fingers

Already drunk in laughter

You spill onto cement

Like a plague

In mourning

Awaken by the chance

To breed.

The Untitled She

She oozes in maroon rapture

Scatters like pearls on cold marble floors

Slipping out of giddy intoxication

Singing lotus blooming muted notes

Shining secrets on ripples of mud

Sleeping warm in cocooned hearts

She, the answer to content nothings

Sons and daughters to selfless giving

Sacred in gesture

Solemn in manifestation

Sheepish in flattery

Silent in splendor

Glimpse

Mesmerized by your glance

All at once I disappear into an ocean

What would I do?

If you should smile?

 Still

Incredibly certain

Without thinking

Empty

Absolute

Like a falling feather

Spinning in the breeze

Light

Absorbing

Anticipating nothing

Feeling

Sounds
